COLORADO SPRINGS — Despite COVID-19 restrictions, business owners in Colorado Springs said they saw a busy weekend downtown.

Owners of several shops like Terra Verde Boutique and The Rocky Mountain Soap Market said that even though their capacity limit is reduced customers still came out to take advantage of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday sales and to help out their favorite local shops.

"Customer loyalty is everything. We have great customers who really want to see us succeed. We want to see them have a great season. We just have great relationships with the people who shop here and that's, we want it that way," Leah Riehl, co-owner of Terra Verde said.

Business owners also said that people ordering directly from them online and curbside pickup have helped keep them going as well.
