COLORADO SPRINGS — A Colorado Springs bridal shop is teaming up with a local group to help those that are fighting coronavirus on the front lines.

Something New Boutique is donating dress materials to the Merry Mask Makers so they can make masks for first responders.

The bridal shop has donated enough material to make 5,000 masks.

"By providing you know, opportunities for people to volunteer or be a part of something, that is exciting for their child or for a family member to meet. It brings hope and with out hope what we do have is just kind of a depressing life if we don't have hope," Owner Mindi LInsecombe said.

LInsecombe said the boutique will continue their virtual and distance experience after the stay-at-home order is lifted.
