PUEBLO — A former Pueblo football player who made it big in the NFL could be chosen as one of the greatest running backs ever.
As the NFL celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, the league is naming the NFL 100 All-time Team.
Pueblo Central graduate Earl "Dutch" Clark is on the short list to be selected as one of the 12 best running backs in NFL history.
He is an NFL Hall-of-Famer, and led the 1935 Detroit Lions to a world championship. He also has a stadium named after him in Pueblo.
We'll find out if "Dutch" makes the NFL 100 all-time running backs team on Friday.
