City of Pueblo to fix critical bridges with leftover funds

PUEBLO — The City of Pueblo is using some extra cash to fixed some critical bridges in Pueblo.

The City has an extra $250,000 from various other works project and will be used to repair four bridges in Pueblo that have been damaged from car accidents.

"It is gratifying that we have the surplus to tackle those because even though they are small bridges, they are really important for the transportation of our citizens," said Dennis Flores, Pueblo City Council President.

Worked is expected to start on those four bridge this summer.
