Thanksgiving is right around the corner and in Colorado Springs on Saturday the Christian House of Prayer helped local families in need to get all the food for a proper holiday celebration.
They hosted their 10th annual thanksgiving food drive where they gave out boxes of food from care and share.
The donations contained the traditional thanksgiving meal, including turkeys, potatoes, and stuffing.
The congregation doesn't want anyone in the community to go hungry. In 2019, the church fed more than 324 families.
