SALIDA — Ski in the New Year and celebrate our 80th season with Monarch’s Annual Torchlight Parade followed by a fireworks show! After a day on the slopes enjoy live music by Roundhouse Assembly, an inspiring Torch Light Ski Down, and the most incredible Fireworks Show this side of the continental divide!
This year's celebration will be even better than past years thanks to two firework launch points. That means DOUBLE the fireworks compared to previous years!
There will be food and beverages in the base lodge with fun and games for the kids. At dark the Torch Light Parade begins weaving its way down Freeway followed by the spectacular fireworks show – all FREE and view-able from the base area and ski lodge deck.
During the day, skiing and snowboarding guests, with lift ticket or season pass, can register and sign a liability waiver to participate in the Torch Light Ski Down at the Guest Services Desk.
