COLORADO SPRINGS — Starting Tuesday, the Colorado Department of Transportation will be replacing signs from the South Academy exit to the Garden of the Gods area in a project that will last until the end of June.
CDOT said the new signs will replace damaged or missing ones along I-25 and will help drivers see them better at night.
Drivers should expect some delays as crews are working on this project.
Single or double lane closures can take place in both directions Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
There will also be shoulder closures Monday through Friday from 8:20 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The project costs $982,000 and will remove 366 signs while installing new signs, posts and foundations, according to CDOT.
