MONUMENT — A couple overnight closures could impact Friday morning commutes in both directions through the Gap on I-25.

On northbound I-25, the off-ramp to Upper Lake Gulch Road will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday

Crews are going to be working on setting a barrier for a traffic shift, according to CDOT.

Those traveling northbound and needing to get off on Upper Lake Gulch Road will have to exit on Tomah Road to get back on the highway southbound.

For the southbound side of things, CDOT will have a single-lane closure from 7 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday between County Line and Greenland roads.

The southbound closure will delay Friday morning commutes, so be cautious and aware of your surroundings.
