COLORADO SPRINGS — For many people of faith we are heading into the most important days of Holy Week.

Bishop Michael Sheridan of the Colorado Springs Catholic Diocese said it's been a difficult time for many congregations.

He said in nearly 50 years as priest, this is the first time he has not had a congregation inside church for mass during Holy Week.

"When these other things I'm so accustomed to are not immediately present, I think maybe digging into some dimension of their spiritual life, that they haven't before," Bishop Sheridan said.

The Colorado Springs and Pueblo Catholic Diocese will hold virtual services for Easter weekend and have posted information for those services on their websites.
