COLORADO SPRINGS — Care and Share wants your help this month to take action against hunger.
The food bank is participating in the "Feeding America" program.
An estimated 40 million Americans go hungry every year.
You can help in many ways, including volunteering, donating food, or donating money from your phone.
"People who want to give in an easy way just need to text the word ''nourish'' to 56512," said Lynne Telfor with Care and Share.
With their added buying power, Care and Share can provide eight meals with every dollar donated.
