CAÑON CITY — Officers with the Cañon City Police Department are investigating a crash that killed one person Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to E. US Highway 50 at Berry Parkway around 2:20 p.m. for a rollover crash.
Officers were told that a person was ejected from the vehicle.
The only person in the vehicle was a 54-year-old woman. She was taken to the hospital where she died.
Her name has not been released.
Colorado State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
Highway 50 was closed between Justice Center Road and Dozier Avenue while officers completed their investigation.
