COLORADO SPRINGS — Governor Polis' Safer at Home order started this week. It's a gradual, phased-in approach to rebounding from the pandemic.

Friday was a big step forward in Colorado's recovery as retail stores were allowed to reopen.

Barber shops, hair and nail salons, tattoo parlors, dentist offices were allowed to reopen, as long as they took the necessary precautions.

The owner of one Colorado Springs boutique said she's happy to be back at work.

"Well its interesting but its happiness to us. We love being here, we love seeing our customers." said Lisa Raulie, co-owner of Sparkels and Lace. "We're doing it a little differently to get started. We're doing one-on-one shopping this weekend. We have a customer in here right now shopping on her own. Then we'll transition back to our normal hours on Tuesday."

Next week non-essential offices will be allowed to reopen with several safety measures in place.

That's good news for everyone looking forward to getting back to the office.
