COLORADO SPRINGS — Every year for the holidays, the Bob Telmosse' Foundation has a Christmas giveaway for families in need. The pandemic isn't stopping them from continuing that tradition this year.
Members of the foundation met with staff at UCHealth Park today to start setting up for this weekend's giveaway.
It will be a drive-thru event where families will have free groceries loaded into their cars. There will also be gift cards for all the kids.
The drive-thru giveaway will be this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at UCHealth Park just east of Tutt Boulevard and Barnes Rd. in Colorado Springs.
The foundation hopes to help a thousand families in need this year as they partner with Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado.
