PENROSE — Apple Day is set to happen this Saturday in Penrose.
The annual event had been canceled due to COVID-19, but the Penrose Chamber of Commerce decided to have a modified version instead.
The event this year will include a fun run, music, dancing, and a community breakfast.
One business owner told News 5 that he's excited the event is happening and he's going to open his cidery tasting room this weekend.
"So to open our doors and invite everybody back in and really be able to let everybody taste and sit down and enjoy our ciders, we are very happy to able to do that," Kevin Williams with Apple Valley Cider said.
