AMBER Alert canceled, 3-year-old found safe

EL PASO COUNTY — UPDATE: Just before 5 p.m. the Pueblo Police Department reported that Savannah Camele was found safe and unharmed.

The department said Camele and Ricky Trujillo were located in separate locations. Camele is being reunited with her family.

PPD said detectives are interviewing Trujillo regarding the circumstances of this situation. No further information has been released at this time.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for 3-year-old Savannah Camele.

According to the CBI, she is possibly with Ricky Trujillo, traveling in a 2006 white Ford Explorer with a broken out window covered in plastic and black tape. The vehicle also has black spiked rims. Colorado license plate number AGA013.

The CBI said Savannah Camele was in the company of her grandmother and Ricky Trujillo when Trujillo assaulted the child and pushed the grandmother out of the vehicle and then fled. Trujillo is believed to be armed with a hunting knife. The vehicle was last seen heading north from the intersection of Hanover Rd. and Old Pueblo Rd. in Hanover.

Trujillo is described as a Hispanic man standing 5'7" tall, weighing 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and blue jersey.

Savannah was last seen wearing a cheetah-print romper/onesie. She is a 3-year-old Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes.
