USAFA — On Thursday, the Air Force Academy welcomed a new class of cadets to campus in a day they call In-Processing Day.
This year looked different due to COVID-19, but it did not stop these cadets from starting an exciting new chapter in their lives.
"For the new appointees coming in, this is a shock, its different, its the start of their new career, their leaving their families, coming here, and they are about to experience what the military lifestyle is like," Capt. Dennis Lynn, Director of In-Processing Day.
The new class will get straight to work tomorrow with basic training and will be on track to graduate for the Academy in 2024.
