AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Air Force Academy cadet Andrew Hong pleaded guilty Tuesday to Assault and Battery.
A military judge accepted the plea and sentenced Hong to a year of confinement. As part of the plea, a charge of Attempted Abusive Sexual Contact was dismissed.
In addition to the year of confinement, Hong will receive a reprimand, a punitive discharge, and have to forfeit all pay and allowances. He will also have a federal conviction on his record.
