COLORADO SPRINGS — Imagine this: it is your wedding day with all of your closest friends and family in attendance.

Only exception - social distancing due to COVID-19 forced your guests to drive by your big day.

For Chris and Jen Sutton, that was their reality on Monday.

The happy couple tied the knot on their front yard after deciding they were not going to change the date of their wedding. Yet they still wanted to give friends and family a way to celebrate.

As expected, the Sutton's never expected their wedding day to be like this but are making the best of it.

"A drive-by wedding is kind of hilarious if you ask me," said the new Mrs. Sutton. "I think we're just trying to take this all in stride. We have a lot of friends and family in the area that do want to be a part of it and there is no other way to really do that."

The Suttons want to remind everyone that there is happiness, love to be shared right now and that we can get through this.
