Labor Day marks final day of State Fair

Today is the last day of the Colorado State Fair! Make sure to check out the schedule before you go for schedule and parking information. It's also "Senior Day," so anyone 60 and older can get into the fair for free.

Pickup truck driver arrested for DUI after hitting motorcyclist

Police said the pickup truck driver dragged the motorcycle 600 to 700 feet and the motorcyclist, who was ejected, was hit by another vehicle on the road. The motorcyclist died on the scene and police said the pickup drivers faces potential vehicular homicide charges.

Potential record-breaking Labor Day weather

Temperatures will climb very quickly to the 80s and 90s by lunch time today. The chance for rain is low, with very dry air in place. Today is likely to break record highs for the second day in a row before a cold front heads in Tuesday.

Stabbing victim did not know suspect, police say

A man sustained a potential life-threatening stab wound shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said he was taken to the hospital to be treated and is in serious but stable condition. If you have any information, please call the Colorado Springs Police Department at (719) 444-7000.

At least one dead after Hurricane Dorian batters the Bahamas and heads toward the US

The death of an 8-year-old boy is being reported by Bahamas news outlets Eyewitness News and Bahamas Press. Dorian is expected to continue lashing the Bahamas on Monday, before moving closer to the southeastern U.S. coast Monday night through Wednesday evening.
