Academy District 20 high schools begin in-person graduations this week

Academy District 20 announced they will be holding in-person graduations for the class of 2020 starting today. June 22 will kick off the ceremonies with each high school getting their own day to celebrate. Each student will be allowed 2 loved ones to sit with them during the ceremony.

Father and son drown while rafting on Arkansas River near Pueblo

A father and his son died Sunday afternoon after being ejected from a raft in the Arkansas River near Pueblo, according to the Pueblo Police Department. The Pueblo County Coroner identified the two individuals as 46-year-old Ricardo Valencia Sanchez and 16-year-old Jose Louis Valencia, of Aurora.

Scattered storms today - strong to severe across the plains

Scattered storms are expected today, some of which will likely be strong to severe as they move east of I-25 and through the plains in the afternoon. Storms will start over the mountains shortly after lunch and then push east through the plains where they will get stronger. We'll see lingering thundershowers in the early evening before we dry out overnight.

We all remember a few months back when we saw empty shelves at the grocery store, nd people buying items in bulk.Well, baby supplies were among them, and with those sold out, low-income families who needed them were at a loss. But organizations in town are teaming up to provide those baby items - and you can help, too.
