Did dinner slip your mind in the midst of Christmas prep? Good news – you can still visit some of your favorite chains this Christmas. Hours do y by location and some close early for the holiday, so it's best to call ahead before showing up with an empty stomach.

Various locations offering free community meals on Christmas

Multiple locations across southern Colorado are gearing up to serve community meals Christmas Day and celebrate the holiday. Christmas dinners at many locations begin at 11 a.m. and go to 1 p.m. Wednesday.

The sun will be back out today in the plains the sky will start to clear out today, with temperatures staying cool but comfortable. Starting in the 20s and 30s this morning, temperatures will gradually rise to the 40s and 50s later.

Air Force continues preparations for Cheez-It Bowl

It'll be a holly jolly Christmas for the Air Force football team (10-2) this week as the prepare to meet Washington State (6-6) in the Cheez-It Bowl Friday at Chase Field. Following two 5-7 seasons, the Falcons put it all together in 2019, winning 10 games to return to bowl eligibility for the first time since 2016.
