Vice President Mike Pence to speak in person at Air Force Academy graduation

Vice President Mike Pence will be traveling to Colorado to speak at the Air Force Academy graduation this Saturday. The Academy graduation is happening six weeks ahead of schedule to allow the class of 2020 to celebrate together while ensuring their health and safety by adhering to CDC and Department of Defense guidelines, the Academy said.

New data shows the COVID-19 curve flattening in El Paso County

There is new COVID-19 tracking data offering some encouraging perspective. Deputy Medical Director Dr. Leon Kelly described this as "meaningful data" and allows people to "understand what's going on and what we're doing and why.” The flattening started around 14 days after social distancing orders started.

Warm today before cold and snowy weather tomorrow

We're going to be mild and dry today ahead of a pretty cold and snowy day tomorrow. Despite cloud cover that will build throughout the day, we'll have enough down slope wind flow to keep temperatures in the 50s and 60s this afternoon.

Coronavirus relief checks won’t have to be repaid, feds say

Videos and online reports claiming that millions of Americans will have to repay the relief checks they receive from the federal government under the $2.2 trillion coronavirus economic recovery bill are not true. The government began issuing the one-time payments this week that will be directly deposited into bank accounts or mailed to households, depending on how you’ve filed your tax returns in the past.

We're Open Colorado: The Viewhouse donates 200 meals a day to essential organizations

Viewhouse is working to donate 200 meals every single day to essential organizations throughout the Colorado Springs, Denver, Centennial, and Littleton areas. Each of the Viewhouse's four locations donate 50 meals each day in addition to continuing to offer to-go curbside pickup, delivery options and off-site catering.
