27th annual Salute to American Veterans Rally:
What: A special event honoring United States Veterans and the Military. The mission of the Salute to American Veterans Rally Committee and our annual event can be summed up in five simple but meaningful words: DUTY, HONOR, CAMARADERIE, RESPECT and FREEDOM.

Steers and Beers Whiskey and Beer Festival
What: There will be hundreds of brews and whiskeys to sample.
Step into the RNDC Whiskey Trail Rooms and enjoy and enjoy some of the top whiskey out there served to you by whiskey professionals.
Where: Antler's Hotel-Colorado Springs
When: August 17
Time: 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. - VIP experience

Summerfest: German Bier Festival
What: A family friendly event celebrating culture and community. You will enjoy homemade German food from Edelweiss, beer from Warsteiner, and bubbles for the kids to play in, compliments of the Millibo Art Thearter.

Time: Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Teddy Bear Day
What: We can BEAR-ly contain our excitement for the 31st annual Teddy Bear Day at the Zoo! Come celebrate 31 years of caring for kids and their plush bears by enjoying BEAR-y fun activities all day long.
When: August 17
Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where: Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Cost: Children 3-11 years old visiting the Zoo along with a teddy bear, or their favorite stuffed animal or doll, will receive discounted admission of $9.75 (saving $10!) Children ages two and under are just 75¢, and members are FREE!

3rd Annual Old Colorado City Car Show
What: The show will display a wide range of vehicles, custom and classic motorcycles, cars and trucks, foreign and domestic, all years, makes, and models.
