COLORADO SPRINGS — The 2C repaving project in Colorado Springs is now complete.

The taxpayer-approved project started five-years-ago, and in that time a total of more than 1,074 lane miles were repaved.

Sales tax revenue is still being collected for 2C until the end of the year. On January 1, a new, lower tax rate will take the place of the original program.

This new program, dubbed 2C2, was approved by voters and will focus on repaving more residential streets in the city.
