PUEBLO – It has been over a year now since St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo laid off nearly 300 employees.
News5 followed up with the hospital on how it has recovered since the announcement.
The hospital said about 90% of the workers who were laid off have now found jobs.
St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center said it has also improved its cancer care and expanded its cardiology department.
The hospital also expanded its partnership with Pueblo Community College.
