COLORADO SPRINGS – First responders were welcomed to a free breakfast on Friday.

Swan-Law Funeral Directors hosted first responders to the catered meal as a thank you for their work to keep the community safe. The firefighters and police taking part, they were more than happy to stop by.

“Anytime we have someone in the community that reached out in an effort to support public safety, especially when you’re offering firefighters, police officers food, we want to get out there and take advantage of it,” said Battalion Chief Kevin Bird, Colorado Springs Fire Department.

Besides the basic breakfast fare, an on-site chef on on-hand to make custom omelets.
