DOUGLAS COUNTY – A crash involving multiple vehicles shut down all lanes of northbound I-25 for more than an hour north of Castle Rock Thursday morning.
As of 7 a.m., all lanes are back open, but heavy delays are still possible until traffic flow returns to normal. Backups extended past the Happy Canyon exit for much of the morning.
The crash happened just north of the exit around 5:08 a.m. CDOT had to reroute all cars stuck behind the crash to turn around on the interstate and exit at Castle Pines Parkway.
