Man pleads guilty to assaulting Uber driver in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS – The man accused of attacking an Uber driver before stealing her car was sentenced to four years in prison and will have to register as a sex offender for ten years to life.

Raydrian Tyree Scott was already wanted by police in Mississippi for failing to register as a sex offender and for misdemeanor warrants out of Pueblo prior to the September 2018 attack on the Uber driver.

The victim told police she was picking someone up around 4:30 a.m. when a man hit and bit her several times, assaulted her further, then drove off in her car.

Scott still had the victim’s car when he was tracked down and arrested by police for attempted sexual assault, second-degree assault, robbery, aggravate motor vehicle theft, and failure to register as a sex offender.
