PUEBLO – Around 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Pueblo PD responded to a home in the 200 block of Lake Ave. on a shooting that had just occurred.
When officers arrived, they found a 64-year-old man had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pueblo PD said officers quickly located a man in the alley behind the home and took him into custody. Following an investigation by detectives, this man was later identified as the lone suspect in the shooting.
That man has been identified as 34-year-old Nathaniel Morrow, according to Pueblo PD.
Morrow will be booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center on a 1st Degree Murder charge. The relationship between Morrow and the victim is not being released at this time. The victim will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner at a later date.
Pueblo PD said this is the fifth homicide in the city in 2019.
