COLORADO SPRINGS – Change is coming to the large Olympic mural you can see at West Colorado Avenue and I-25.

The image of local product and Olympic champion Henry Cejudo is being changed to a promotion for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s new exhibit set to open soon.

“We are opening a new penguin and hippo exhibit, it’s right behind me here. It’s gonna be fantastic. It will open late this summer, and we wanted to be able to share the excitement with the people of Colorado Springs,” Cheyenne Mountain Zoo President Bob Chastain said.

CMZ plans more promotions for the exhibits this summer.

The new mural will also showcase a new partnership the Colorado Springs Airport.
