COLORADO SPRINGS – Local filmmakers hope to get support from the community as they gear up for the premiere of “Jurassic Thunder.”

The movie was made in Colorado Springs by local director Milko Davis, and 95% of the cast and crew are veterans and active duty military members.

On Saturday, May 4th, you can meet the cast and crew, and even the dinosaur star, at a fundraiser to help pay for a private screening of the movie. They’ll be at Cheers liquor store at 1105 North Circle, along with the Heavenly Dogs food truck.

That money will be used to rent out a movie theater at AMC Chapel Hills for a private screening of “Jurassic Thunder” at 7 p.m. June 12.

The movie will premiere at the 20th Anniversary for Blissfest at Alamo Draft House in Denver on August 24.
