WESTMINSTER – Smoke alarms are credited with alerting a Colorado family to a fire in their home.
Early Sunday morning, a family in Westminster woke up to the sound of smoke alarms in their home.
The family was able to quickly evacuate the house and call 911.
Firefighters put out the blaze before it could cause extensive damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time, but due to the smoke alarms, no one was injured.
