PUEBLO COUNTY – The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting last week.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, last Thursday morning (4/4/19) around 7 a.m., deputies responded to the area of E. Enterprise and N. Precision Dr. after a man reported that someone fired a shot at his vehicle shortly after he drove into the parking lot of a local business.

The victim told deputies he was driving east in the 300 block of E. Enterprise near the intersection of Fabrication Dr. when a dark-colored SUV pulled in front of him and came to a stop. The victim then turned into a nearby business parking lot.  The victim reported that he then heard something hit his truck and saw the SUV drive off north on Precision Dr. at a slow rate of speed.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies discovered a gunshot had penetrated the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle.

The Sheriffs’ Office said surveillance video caught the suspect’s SUV and showed it to be an older model, dark-colored Ford Explorer. The driver of the vehicle was described as Hispanic with short hair and facial hair. The Sheriff’s Office said there is believed to have been a passenger in the vehicle as well, but no description of that person is available.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office at (719) 583-6250.
