PUEBLO – At 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Pueblo PD officers were dispatched to the intersection of Jackson St. and W. Adams Ave. on a traffic collision with serious injuries.
PD said that the preliminary investigation indicated that a gray Ford truck traveling eastbound on Adams Ave. failed to yield at the stop sign.
A Black Hills Energy truck was traveling northbound on Jackson St. and collided with the Ford truck.
PD said the driver of the Ford truck was transported for critical injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital.
The driver’s identity is pending notification of next of kin.
