COLORADO SPRINGS – Hundreds of lineworkers from across the country made their way to Rock Ledge Ranch to compete in the Lineman’s Rodeo.
Journeymen and apprentice lineworkers competed this weekend in different events that showcased their skills and abilities on a power pole.
The snow and cold temperatures this weekend hopefully gave our home team an advantage.
“We’re used to it, the weather,” said Tyler Dimenza. “So kind of a home-field advantage in a way. You know things are a little colder, we gotta dress warm.”
The winning teams get to take home trophies and bragging rights. The last time Colorado Springs hosted the event was in 2002.
