COLORADO SPRINGS – Late Tuesday night, a Colorado Springs Police officer from the Gold Hill Division stopped a vehicle for displaying fictitious license plates in the area of E. Arvada and S. Nevada.
CSPD said the officer observed indicators of drug possession and use inside the vehicle and detained the occupants.
A search of the vehicle led to the location and recovery of narcotics, including methamphetamine and more than 10 pounds of marijuana, according to CSPD.
The occupants of the vehicle were arrested on offenses ranging from distribution and possession of narcotics to traffic-related offenses.
