COLORADO SPRINGS – Jersey Mike’s restaurants in Colorado Springs are donating all of their proceeds from Wednesday’s sales to veteran’s charities.
The donation is part of their month of giving campaign.
The stores have been donating portions of profits all month, and today’s sales will go to support Angels of America’s Fallen.
“Absolutely it’s a good thing, so I think that we should be doing more for our troops and for our police force and everything else at the same time,” said customer, Chris Radizkowski.
Last year, the campaign raised more than $6 million for local charities.
