Breckenridge man arrested for stealing $5,000 to $10,000 worth of skis, snowboards

BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge police arrested a man Monday suspected of stealing thousands of dollars worth of skis and snowboards this winter.

Police announced they arrested 32-year-old Thomas Yacko following a weekslong investigation into the thefts. Police said it’s likely he will be charged with a class 6 felony for stealing the property, which is worth anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000.

Breckenridge police said the case is still under investigation, and they’re looking to track down additional victims since Yacko’s arrest.
