Horsetooth Mountain Open Space reopens following mountain lion attack

LARIMER COUNTY – Horsetooth Mountain Open Space has reopened more than a week after a man killed an attacking mountain lion.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reported that officials found and removed two more juvenile mountain lions that are believed to be siblings of the lion involved in the attack. These lions will be released back into the wild at a later date.

The man that was attacked is speaking about his experience, Thursday in Fort Collins.
