COLORADO SPRINGS – Friday, CSPD officers responded to multiple calls of shots being fired into houses and vehicles.
In two of the cases, two victims sustained minor injuries.
According to CSPD, a similarity in the cases was that witnesses reported the suspect vehicle was a black colored, possible Dodge pickup truck, with an extended cab and a back passenger window covered with plastic. CSPD said it was also reported the vehicle had an unknown temporary tag.
Officers were assigned to specifically try and locate the vehicle.
CSPD said just before midnight Friday, an officer noticed the aforementioned vehicle in the 2500 block of South Chelton Rd. Multiple officers responded and made contact with three juveniles.
CSPD said their investigation resulted in one of the juveniles being taken into custody without incident.
