New restaurant opening benefits charity

COLORADO SPRINGS – Anthony’s Pizza and Pasta celebrating its first store in Colorado Springs.
Its grand opening is Wednesday and to celebrate they’ll donate 10 percent of all sales to the Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Association.

“To help them with their education, therapy, learning where they can go for medical assistance, helping with nursing, you name it, it helps,” owner Mirk Ceshire said.

The event happens Feb. 6, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The location is off Interquest Parkway just east of I-25.
