COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Revenue announced that all DMV locations are unable to issue driver licenses, permits and ID cards due to technical problems.
The issue is affecting all DMV locations around Colorado. It’s unknown at this time when the issue will be resolved.
A statement from the DMV read, “We thank Colorado residents for their patience and apologize for the inconvenience.”
As of 2 p.m. there is no estimated time for the systems to come back online.
The Pueblo County Clerk & Recorder’s Office has decided to close for the day at 2 p.m.
The County Clerk’s Motor Vehicle department is closed due to a statewide software issue. If you have attempted to come to our office today, your fine will be waived.

In case this sounds familiar… it should. News5 has reported on at least three outages for the system since it was updated the first week of August 2018.
