COLORADO SPRINGS – The effort to improve the quality of life for people living in southeast Colorado Springs is getting a voice.
Colorado Publishing House is giving the area it’s first hyper-local newspaper, the Southeast Express.
“We said, we can do a newspaper in the southeast that will empower people, that will educate people,” said John Weiss, who owns the paper. “Information is power. A lack of information is powerlessness.”
The newspaper will go to 30,000 mailboxes in the 80910 and 80916 zip codes. The paper will begin circulation slow and increase as support grows.
