Missing man returns home in Colorado Springs

UPDATE: James Sauls returned home safely around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night. The missing senior citizen alert has been canceled.

ORIGINAL STORY Colorado Springs Police have issued a missing senior citizen alert for 81-year-old James Sauls, who was last seen Tuesday morning.

Sauls, who police say has an impaired mental condition, was last seen around 10 a.m. in the 1500 block of Oak Hills Drive on the northwest side of Colorado Springs.

He’s 5’9, weighs about 150 pounds and was wearing a blue Cowboys knit cap, blue jacket, khaki pants, black shoes and brown glasses.

He might be driving a silver Toyota 4 Runner with Colorado license plate 092-SSA.
