New military office coming to Colorado

LITTLETON – Senator Cory Gardner announced today the U.S. Department of the Navy is relocating an office to Colorado.

The Program Management Office Strategic Systems Program Flight Systems provides the technical oversight and fleet support for the nation’s sea-based strategic deterrent.

Currently, the office is located in Sunnyvale, California but will relocate to Littleton, Colorado on October 1, 2019.

Senator Gardner says this relocation will create job opportunities and “In Colorado, we’re proud of those who serve our nation and are pleased to accept the responsibility of such a crucial program in support of our nation’s nuclear capabilities.”
