EL PASO COUNTY – People living in El Paso County have a chance to determine the county’s direction. The County Board of Commissioners is looking for a new member of the Community Development Advisory Board.
The new member will represent District 4.
The board reviews important matters for a Community Development Block Grant awarded to the county in April 2009, and makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on community development issues and the use of funds.
Meetings for the advisory board are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. at the Economic Developing Office at 9 East Vermijo, across the street from the courthouse.
Applications are due by Feb. 15, and can be found at the El Paso County Website.
