PUEBLO WEST – A man who donated to charity finds out giving a little bit can come back to you in a big way. James Mason was awarded a classic 1953 Hudson Jet in great condition which he won in a raffle.
The Pueblo West man took part in the drawing in Trinidad last month. That effort brought in $18,000 to fund programs with Mt. Carmel Wellness and Community Center and the Trinidad Community Foundation.
“Helping our fellow person in our communites is very important. Pay forward, give back. That is what it is all about,” explains Mason.
The Hudson Jet was donated by the Phil Long Family of Dealerships. Other prizes include $500 Shell Gas gift cards from Duran Oiland a Samsung tablet from Mt. Carmel Wellness and Community Center.
