COLORADO SPRINGS – Around 1 p.m. Saturday, CSPD responded to the scene of a serious accident near Union Blvd. and Hancock Expressway.
The accident happened when a semi truck was attempting to make a U-turn and car with four occupants crashed into the truck’s trailer.
A mother and three children were the occupants of the car. All four were taken to an area hospital for treatment. One child is in critical condition.
Union Blvd. is closed in the area of the crash and is expected to remain closed for several hours.
