COLORADO SPRINGS – Ent Credit Union has announced plans to build a new headquarters in Colorado Springs.

The credit union began operating in 1957 with eight members at Ent Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. Since that time, the company said it has grown to serve more than 330,000 members across 14 Colorado counties.

After 17 years in their current office buildings at Woodmen and I-25, the company said its employee team has grown to the point where they need more space.

The company is now in the process of purchasing land at The Campus Foothills farm, located near Interquest Parkway and I-25. They anticipate breaking ground in mid-2019, with the construction project taking approximately two years to complete.

Over the next seven to 10 years, the company said their staff will grow from approximately 500 employees to as many as 1,100.
