COLORADO SPRINGS – Chick-fil-A announced that it will open its newest restaurant on the east side of Colorado Springs next Wednesday.

Per usual, the restaurant will offer free Chick-fil-a for one year for the first 100 people who camp out overnight to celebrate the restaurant’s opening. The offer would provide a total of 52 Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich meals over the course of a year to eligible adults.

The new restaurant is located at 5905 Dublin Blvd. in the Dublin Commons shopping area on the southeast side of the intersection of Powers and Dublin.

Registration for the “first 100 campout party” opens in the parking lot of the restaurant at 6 a.m. on Jan. 15. Participants can arrive at the registration no earlier than 5:30 a.m. The campout is only available to those who live in the surrounding area, and participants will be required to provide proof of residence. Complete rules can be found here.

The new restaurant is 5,300 square feet in size. It features a drive-thru lane that can handle 200-cars an hour and a designated pickup counter for mobile ordering.

The Chick-fil-a will be open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
